SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.22 g, 11 h), Tarsos. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, ΣA; to outer right, monogram of NK. SC 1032.2. Extremely rare, SC records a single example in poor condition. Boldly struck in high relief. Minor scuff on the obverse and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
